Welcome to The Black Horse Pub & Stables Tea Room
Daniel and Claire Bryers welcome you to The Black Horse Pub and Stables Tea Room in the charming Leicestershire village of Foxton, a popular country pub serving quality beers and home cooked food, just off the Leicester Line of the historic Grand Union Canal.
On a typical day, you’ll see colourful narrowboats leisurely navigating the locks, moored up or making their way up or down the picturesque canal. Once the main method of transporting goods, the canal now attracts tourists, walkers and boating enthusiasts keen to capture a part of history and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the area.
The Black Horse Pub itself has an interesting history and was rebuilt in 1900 on the site of another Inn, but today with recent renovations by the new owners, it stands proud with its stunning gardens as a highly popular social venue for the local community and visitors, providing the very best in freshly prepared home cooked food and an inviting selection of popular ales, wines and spirits to satisfy every taste.
